Wedding in Lucca in Villa Oliva
Jesseanna e Marco
Once upon a time in Lucca… This could be the beginning of their wedding story. A beautiful couple, she American, he Italian; Jesseanna’s preparations took place in her home in the center of Lucca. The preparations with friends, witnesses, and parents were engaging and full of emotional moments. The weather was variable throughout the day, with rain making an appearance at times, but never compromising the important moments of the wedding.
The ceremony, held in a beautiful church in the center of Lucca, was touching. I was struck by the happiness evident in every expression on Jesseanna’s face. Fantastic!
After the celebration, the newlyweds were showered with rice, a delightful tradition. The beauty of wedding photography is being an integral part of the event, fully experiencing every emotion with the task of making it unique. After the rice toss, the groom had hired a band, so we all decided to walk through the streets of the center, with the couple dancing and moving to the music. It was time to hop in the car and head to the beautiful Villa Oliva, just outside the center of Lucca. In my opinion, a splendid villa, with a beautiful and spacious garden: fountains, sculptures, staircases, lemon trees, creating a fairy-tale setting.
The sunset began, and the warm, magical light of the sun enveloped the location and the couple. Now the atmosphere is intimate, elegant, and emotional; everything is where it should be. Jesseanna and Marco look at each other, kiss, and laugh together. They are one, and it is beautiful.
The photo shoot ends when the sunlight is no longer enough to warm their faces; we then head towards the restaurant hall with the fantastic band playing behind the newlyweds, announcing their arrival. The reception starts with the entrance of the couple and continues with moving speeches from parents and witnesses, smiles, hugs, and tears becoming the protagonists of this moment. The cake cutting and first dance take place outside, in a beautiful atmosphere of lights… slowly the sounds decrease, people toast and thank the couple for the fantastic day, the lights dim, and we have come to the end of the day… Jesseanna and Marco lived happily ever after.
