Destination Wedding in Tuscany – Villa il Gran Duca

A beautiful couple from London decided to get married in the typical Tuscan atmosphere, surrounded by rolling hills. For their big day, they chose Villa il Granduca in Carmignano, where they held the entire wedding, from preparations to the cake cutting.
As their wedding photographer, I was involved from the very beginning. All the guests, friends, relatives, and parents came from London; they were greeted by a splendid sunny day with a few pleasant clouds—an ideal day, indeed.
The preparations took place inside the villa, in a beautiful barn that had been converted into a lovely room with a view. The civil ceremony was held in the garden, fully enjoying the wonderful Tuscan atmosphere. After that, the couple and I took some time to create their intimate photo shoot. The scenery was abundant, with olive trees and the woods of Carmignano framing their day, all wrapped in the warm, magical light of the sunset, which brought our outdoor session to a close.
The reception was accompanied by the inevitable and moving speeches from the witnesses and parents. The dinner concluded with the cake cutting, which officially kicked off the dancing, games, and, of course, a few drinks.
