An unforgettable wedding for Sanni and Ilari, two beautiful Finnish souls who chose to celebrate their love among the enchanting hills of Val d’Orcia, at the stunning Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda, Siena. As a wedding photographer in Val d’Orcia, capturing this magical event was an incredible experience. The entire event took place in this breathtaking venue, making every moment unique and special.
The preparations for both were straight out of a fairy tale; I adore how the natural light flows through those rooms, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Caravaggio painting. The “first look” was filled with emotion: Sanni, radiant, walked toward Ilari, who was waiting with his back turned. The moment their eyes met, it felt as though time had stopped. Before the ceremony, we took the chance to do an initial couple shoot in the hidden part of Fattoria del
Colle, where the perfect light allowed us to quickly sync and enjoy the experience together.
The ceremony unfolded with a panoramic view of the Val d’Orcia hills—absolutely breathtaking. Sanni and Ilari were visibly moved as they exchanged vows, pledging eternal love before their loved ones. After the ceremony, intense hugs and a collective toast marked

As the light and atmosphere started to take on a golden hue, it was time for my favorite part: the sunset couple shoot. With appetizers in hand, the couple and I ventured out to the hills of Val d’Orcia. This session was one of the most beautiful couple shoots of my career: magical, intense, perfect. Only the photos can describe what words cannot convey.
Returning from this stunning experience, the reception came to life: round tables adorned with simple, delicate flowers set the perfect scene for an open-air Tuscan dinner. Amidst heartfelt speeches and songs from friends, Sanni and Ilari basked in the warmth and love of
their guests, completing a day that will remain etched in everyone’s hearts.
